Engineered living biotherapeutics
A microbiome is a community of microorganisms interacting with host health and disease, and it has recently been highlighted as a key determinant of many aspects of physiological functions. We develop ways to modulate the microbiome and its influence by modifying the in vivo fate and function of living biotherapeutics. Our research interests focus on the development of engineered living biotherapeutics based on nanotechnology for shaping microbiome and treating related diseases
